Kaizen & WorkOut Facilitator Programme

Duration: 2 days, plus pre-work

Who Should Attend: Experienced Green or Black Belts with an interest and affinity in facilitating internal Kaizen and WorkOut events.

Learning Objectives:
The purpose of our Kaizen/WorkOut Facilitator Programme is to prepare participants to design and facilitate future Kaizen and WorkOut events. It has been developed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to accomplish the following learning objectives:

  • Identify origins and essentials of Kaizen and WorkOut.
  • Clarify the role of a facilitator and why it matters.
  • Learn facilitation techniques to create participation, manage potential conflict and accomplish effective decision-making.
  • Gain knowledge of key problem-solving tools and techniques to scope the improvement opportunity, assess the root causes, select countermeasures and generate action plans.
  • Understand the 4 key planning phases: prepare the requirements, briefing participants and sponsor, conducting the event and post-event follow up.
  • Practice Kaizen/WorkOut facilitation in a low-risk training environment and receive feedback from the instructor and fellow participants.
